Salaries and pension

Arts Council salaries are based on public sector pay policy. They are not negotiable.  The salary range for each role is detailed in the Candidate Information Booklet.

Successful candidates start at the first point of the salary scale as per Government guidelines, unless they have previous public sector experience. If you currently work in the civil/public service, you may transfer to the Arts Council salary scale subject to verification from your current employer.

Public service employees who are appointed to pensionable positions join the Single Public Service Pension Scheme.
